Checkatrade Left Us High and Dry!

We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to find us a trustworthy contractor for our renovation project. We signed up and listed our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

We trusted Checkatrade to connect us with competent tradespeople. Little did we know we were walking into a shambles.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you fall for Checkatrade. Their whole scheme is designed to leave you stranded. They promise the world but they barely anything. You'll be left screwed and nobody at Checkatrade will bat an eyelid.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible customer service that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like chasing ghosts.

So, steer well clear of Checkatrade if you value your time.

We thought we were doing the right move by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so trustworthy with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to resolve the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up having to hire someone else by this so-called "vetted" trader. more info Checkatrade's customer service was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling disappointed and suggest looking elsewhere for your tradesman needs.

My rundown with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I engaged a trader through their platform to complete some crucial home repairs. They appeared legitimate at first, but it ended up a terrible ordeal.

Despite I sent the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Getting a response ceased. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
